About the event
Join us for Rooted in the Soil: Naija Fusion, a unique farm-to-table dinner experience on September 27 from 6–9 PM at Gnarled Oak Farm, a regenerative livestock farm in Hernando, MS. Curated by Chefs Halima Salazar and Dria Price, this evening celebrates the deep culinary and cultural roots of poultry in West African cuisine and its powerful influence on Southern food traditions. Proceeds support Farming Foodways, a nonprofit dedicated to training and empowering the next generation of BIPOC farmers and food innovators through equitable and hands-on education. Come hungry—leave inspired.
